v0.3.1

A maintenance release focused on tab handling, session restore, and ad-blocker accuracy — accurate address-bar URLs across sub-frames, no more stray helper-frame tabs, exact tab-order and pinned-tab restore, and a first-party exemption applied across every blocklist.

Read full notesDownload Nav0

What's in this one

  • The address bar no longer updates from sub-frame in-page navigations, and gapi helper frames and other invisible popups no longer spawn stray empty tabs
  • Session restore preserves tab order exactly and keeps pinned tabs pinned across restarts
  • The first-party / navigation exemption now applies across all blocklists, so domains that merely appear on tracker lists no longer block legitimate page loads
  • Ad-blocker toggles are right-aligned inline with their labels, with corrected permission favicon sizing and a tidied allow-list and custom search-engine form
  • Downloads with duplicate filenames are suffixed (e.g. file (1).pdf) instead of overwriting, plus smoother tab-strip resizing

The Nav0 editorial redesign lands across every built-in page — tab strip, new tab, Bookmarks, History, Downloads, Settings, About, Command-K, and error pages — plus address-bar Enter fixes, coalesced getUserMedia prompts, and unblocked streaming sub-resources in private mode.

v0.2.9

May 17, 2026

A unified address bar autocomplete that ranks bookmarks above history, new Cmd/Ctrl+L and corrected Ctrl+W shortcuts, a fully in-memory private-mode database with startup cleanup, and fixes for ad blocker false positives and the empty About-page checksum row.
